The pack holds 'religious' beliefs in astrology, genuinely believing in the validity of omens and fortunetelling, as well as reading auras and star signs. While it may not necessarily be true in reality, they firmly place their faith on omens. The members of the pack believe that the rulers are the embodiment of the sun and moon, and have somehow becoming spiritually or physically affiliated with these elements. Of course not true, this bears resemblance to a mixture of Aztec society where the citizens believed their Emperor was among the gods, and worshiped and respected him as such, while in reality he was just born into power and led to believe this.
So thus, in character they DO believe in auras and mystical elements, but realistically nothing of the sorts is affecting the pack of their choices in a supernatural sense. Similarto how people today believe in zodiac signs, however don't let it dictate their choices and morality.
